HURU School this April will welcome its' first Artificial Intelligence Class in Africa with students from 17 countries.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is an intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals, which involves consciousness and emotionality. AI refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem-solving. HURU School’s Picodegree in Artificial Intelligence is a pioneer in the world of education. The purpose of the Picodegree is to provide our students with a good foundation to become world class Artificial Intelligence Engineers. Through dynamic student led lectures, practical work and group discussions and presentations, they will gain exposure to the latest methods, techniques, and tools in the Artificial Intelligence space. The course will equip our students with the concepts and principles that will make them world class AI professional with ability to prototype world changing algorithms in influential fields such as Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
